Now Persian fairy floss or pashmak is made with sugar and sesame oil and spun in a similar way as normal fairy floss. The one I used here was a plain vanilla flavour but you can get chocolate, saffron, rose and pistachio versions as well.
You can find more info here at www.pariyafood.comHaalohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03291206056540101155noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20759216.post-1148715061192439782006-05-27T09:31:00.000+02:002006-05-27T09:31:00.000+02:00God you are amazing. Could be that the lemon/lime affected the gelatine, so you'd probably have to increase the amount of gelatine you used.

I'm not too Haalohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03291206056540101155noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20759216.post-1148117428464405232006-05-20T11:30:00.000+02:002006-05-20T11:30:00.000+02:00Haalo, thanks so much for the info on gelatine - ...Haalo, thanks so much for the info on gelatine - I've been trying to work out how much to use. I made a lemon/lime cheesecake the other day that tasted fabulous, but the filling just wouldn't set! One question ... would the freshness of powdered gelatine make a difference?

Also, the scrolls look gorgeous, I will definitely be trying this recipe.

Thanks Haalo, great blog
<Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20759216.post-1148005748228282542006-05-19T04:29:00.000+02:002006-05-19T04:29:00.000+02:00Thanks Vineela!
