In this case, I've added one more ingredient, something special for the first day of 2009. Not only have the eggs been kept with the truffle to infuse them with that lovely aroma, they are finished off with some freshly shaved truffle, to add as the mood dictates.
The cat isn't the only thing with a smile on its face.

ReplyDeleteI love dipping toast soldiers into the runny yellow yolk - too bad I can't seem to ever cook eggs perfectly - they either come out underdone or overdone! (How embarrassing!)
