The idea of the event is that you post (on a wednesday) a b&w food related image - it can be digital or film and for this photo I've gone old school - agfa apx 400 with a Nikon F2
taken in the heat of service - there's a flurry of action, from the fish station at the front, to the focused attention at the pass as plates are ready to be served.
Blown away. Speechless, really.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Haalo, for joining in. Will have the gallery up this afternoon, adding to it as shots come in.
I've always found black and white photos extremely captivating. So, I suppose I shouldn't resist my urge of participating along with you and Susan. :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a captivating photo... I love black and white but have not done much since becoming obsessed with food photography.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. B&W photos have very special meaning for me because my father - who died when I was a child - was a very accomplished amateur photographer and he only shot in black and white (and did the developing himself).
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Love the contrast of the light background and the dark foreground. It somehow reinforces the movement in the photograph.
ReplyDeleteHow fun. You're so right, B&W photography is stunning. I love how it gets right to the point in capturing the mood of a scene without all the fluff.
ReplyDeleteWonderful idea and lovely B&W photo.
