Milkshakes shouldn't be full of artificial colours and flavours and strawberry milkshakes are usually the worse examples of that. In this version I've used fresh strawberries and a little melted white chocolate to make an extra special version of an old childhood favourite. I especially like the little speckles of strawberry that run through the milkshake.
Strawberry & White Chocolate Milkshake

5 large strawberries, cut into quarters
30ml melted white chocolate
2 scoops vanilla ice-cream

In a blender, place the strawberries, melted chocolate, ice cream and milk into a blender and process until creamy and frothy.
Serve immediately.

ReplyDeleteHi Ellie - I'll take any reason to add a bit of white chocolate to things - it does add a nice creaminess to the final product

Hi Brilynn - the white chocolate seems to give a bit of depth to the milkshake, it has a nicer mouth feel.
