Maker: King Island Dairy
Name: Cape Wickham Double Brie
Name: Cape Wickham Double Brie
The double brie is made by adding cream to the mix which produces a much richer and creamier finish and lush flavours.
Deep bold coloured interior that stays firmish - there's a little softening towards the middle. Full flavours that seem to stick in your mouth, courtesy of that extra cream content.
Mmmmmmmmmm, lovely! This would go beautifully with some oatcakes and a glass of red wine.
ReplyDeleteSounds just about perfect to me!
ReplyDeleteTwo things I most miss about Australia: King Island Double Cream Brie and Tasmanian Leatherwood Honey. Ooooooh, I'm feeling faint! Now that I think of it, I miss Moreton Bay Bugs and yabbies and thick lamb chops and Victoria Bitter and ... now I'm weeping ... sorry!
