Crepinettes

One of the items that attracted my interest at the markets were these - Crépinettes.


I can't say that I buy a lot or even any pre-made things - I'd much prefer to make things from scratch but when you are in another country and with limited kitchen facilities then shortcuts, especially when they look as interesting as this, make perfect sense.

The do look like a lot like square hamburgers that have been wrapped in caul and really, it was the caul that caught my eye.
